been the market leader for nineteen consecutive years in the highly competitive
Indian market.The company has achieved a great milestone during the year by producing 1 millionth tractor on 9th November,2004.

- The origins of M&M's MUV division lie in the collaboration (in 1954) between
the company and the US-based Willys Overland Corporation.

- FORD started manufacturing cars in India in joint venture with M&M. FORD

- The group turnover increased during F2003 by 13 % to Rs. 6194.98 crores
from Rs. 5472.68 crores in the previous year. The consolidated profit
after tax during F2003 at Rs. 216.18 crores recorded a growth of 75 %
over the previous year level of Rs. 123.31 crores.
