MUSCO Steel manufactures alloy and specialty Long Steel Products (Bars & billets through 50 T Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) route, catering the needs of Automotive, Engineering, Oil & Gas, Tools & Die Industry, Bearings and other capital goods industries. MUSCO is a single source to many multinational and domestic customers as well as the government in the field of Power Generation, Railways and Defence.
Situated at 90 km southeast of Mumbai - Pune National Highway amidst a panoramic, lush-green surrounding of the Sahyadri Mountain Ranges, MUSCO is spread over a total area of 66.89 hectares. This includes a residential area of 41.94 hecters and plant area of 24.95 hectres. The peaceful environs of the town provide a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai city.
Rings Division came-up as a forwarding integration to Steel Divisions in 2008 to cater to the ever growing market demand of Antifriction Bearings as well as Auto parts in as forged / and green machined condition. This unit is one of the few among Indian Manufacturers, being the only unit having in-house source of Quality alloy steel as input to meet any critical quality requirement of raw material. This division is located at Khopoli in the same premises of steel divisions. Current installed capacity is around 14.4 million nos./ 1800mt per annum.
